A receipt of Notice of Intention to move said building <br /> at the hours stated in said sppllcatlon, signed by the Superintendent <br /> of the Traffic Department of the Southern Cd ifornta Edision Company, <br /> and the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, and in case the lines, <br /> conduits, poles, standards, or property of any other corpc~ation or <br /> person are to b e touched or moved the said application must also be <br /> signed by the manager or Superintendent of s aid affected company. <br /> Said notice must be given at least seventy-two hours before the pro- <br /> posed moving. <br /> <br /> SECTION III. No permit shall be issued to allow the moving <br /> of any building along any street, road, avenue, boulevard, alley, <br /> lane, public place or highway except as is hereinbefore in this 0~di- <br /> nance provided, and after the street superintendent has inspected <br /> applicants equipment and appr~ed same, subject to the following <br /> regulations: <br /> <br /> 1. No building shall be moved, the highest point of which <br /> at any time during operation of moving, extends to a height of more <br /> than twenty-fiwe feet above the surface of the street. <br /> <br /> 2. No building shall be moved upon any truck, having metal <br /> tires unless the total weight restlng upon the surface of the street <br /> shall not exceed six hundred (600) pounds upon any inch of width of <br /> tires. <br /> <br /> 3. No buildingwieghing more than nine (9) tons shall be <br /> moved upon any truck equipped with pneumatic or solid tires. <br /> <br /> A. No building shall be moved upon rollers unless planks <br /> are placed under ~aid rollers to such width and in such manner as <br /> to protect the surface of the street from damage. <br /> <br /> 8. No building shall be moved unless moved upon rollers as <br />hereinbefore in this ordinance provided or upon a truck having wheels <br />equipped with pneumatic or solid rubber or metal tires. <br /> <br /> 6. No building shall be moved unless there is at all times <br /> a clear space of at least five (B) feet between said building and the <br /> curb of the street. <br /> <br /> ?. No building shall be allowed to remain stationary on any <br />street intersection, or upon any street in such manner as to obstruct <br />the access to any fire plug, stand pipe or other fire fighting appli- <br />ance located upon or adjacent to such street. <br /> <br /> 8. No building shall be moved or allowed to remain station- <br />ary upon any public street during the period between thirty minutes <br />before sunset and thirty minutes after sunrise, unless red lanterns <br />are kept lighted ~uring said period at each corner of said building. <br /> <br /> 9. The Chief of the Fire Department shall be notified <br /> <br />twice during each twenty-four (24) hours of moving of the exact loca- <br />tion of the building. ' <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Before the issuance o~ any peEnit hereunder, <br />the applic~ant shall deposit the sum of $200.00 with the City Clerk <br />provided however, that if the amount chargeable hereunder for issuance <br /> <br /> <br />
