364 <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to a map approved by the Board of Trus- <br />tees of the City of Santa Aha, by Resolution No. 1808, approved on the <br />4th day of January, 1926, and which map is now on file in the office of <br />the Engineer of said City, which map indicates by a boundary in green <br />tint thereon· the exterior boundaries of said assessment district· and <br />shows the land necessary to be taken in pink tint, and which map shall <br />Sovern for all details as to the land to be taken and as to the extent <br />of the assessment district? <br /> <br /> SECTION IV. Upon the passage of this Ordinance, the Street <br />Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, shall cause to be conspicuously <br />posted along all streets and parts of streets and public places and <br />rights-ofLway where any property is to be taken, and along and upon <br />any private unimproved property which is to be taken for the widening <br />of said street, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance <br />apart· but not less than three in all, notice of the passage of said <br />ordinance headed "NOTICE OF PUBLIC WORK", the heading to be in letters <br />not less than one inch in length and legible characters; said notice <br />shall state the fact and the date of the passage of this ordinance, and <br />briefly describe the improvement proposed, and refer to this Ordinance <br />of Intention for a description of the assessment district and of the <br />land to be taken· and for further particulars. <br /> <br /> SECTION V. The Street Superintendent shall also cause a no- <br />tice similar in substance to be published by two insertions in the Santa <br />Aha Daily Evening Register· a daily newspaper published and circulated <br />in the City of Santa Aha, which paper is hereby designated as.the paper <br />to be used by the Street. Superintendent for that purpose. <br /> <br /> SECTION VI. The Clerk of the City of Santa Aha shall immedi- <br />ately upon the publication of said notice mail postage prepaid to each <br />of'the property owners in the assessment district at his las known <br />address, as the same appears upon the tax rolls of the City of Santa <br />Aha, and where no address so appears, to the General Delivery at santa <br />Aha, California, a postal card containing a notice ,,hich shall be sub- <br />stantially in the following form: <br /> <br /> ."You are hereby notified that on the day of <br /> <br />1926, the Legislative Body of the City of Santa Ana, California, by vir- <br />tue of the Street Opening Act of 190~, passed an Ordinance of Intention <br /> <br />No. , for the widening of East First Street between the East line <br /> <br />of North Main Street and'the West line of the Southern Pacific Railway <br />Company's right of way e~tending and extended across East First Street, <br />all in said City. <br /> <br /> "Written protests may be filed with the City Clerk within <br /> <br />thirty (30) days after the day of , 1926. Your <br /> <br />property is in the district to be assessed for this improvement. <br /> <br /> E.L. I~EGELY <br /> <br /> City Clerk" <br /> <br /> <br />
