prior to the granting of the permit for such improvements as are <br />above specified and which shall be lim{ted to the requirements of <br /> <br />health and safety. <br /> <br />PRIVATE <br /> <br />All private garages shall be lo~ted not less than <br /> <br />feet from the front lot line unless such garages are part of the <br /> <br />general plan of the residence and are an integral part thereof. <br /> <br />In cases where there are slopes or grade~, garages may be located <br /> <br />on the front lot line provided there ls not a set-back established <br /> <br />on such street and provided further that, and in the opinion of the <br /> <br />building inspector~ the construction of such garage or garages <br /> <br />is physically impossible or too costly to comply with the <br /> <br />requirement of ~0 feet set-back From the front lot line. In <br /> <br />cases where a garage or garages are to be located on a front <br /> <br />lot line, it shall be unlawful to construct the ~oors in a manner <br /> <br />that would project beyond the front lot line ~,~hen open. <br /> <br /> A single family dwelli~g may have a maximum of three (3) <br />garages when they are located 70 feet from the front lot line, and <br /> <br />only two (2) garages when such garages must be located nearer than <br /> <br />feet fro~ the front lot ~ine. <br /> <br />~partm~nt houses may have one (1) garage for every <br /> <br />apartment in such apartm~nt house, such garages to be located at <br /> <br />least ';0 feet from the front lot line unless they are made an <br /> <br />integral part of such apartment house. <br /> <br />SECTION Xll. <br /> <br /> Aside froz~ the special uses enumerated above~' the <br />following manufacturing plants shall first obtain a permit from <br /> <br />the Board of Trustees before erecting or malntai~!nE th8 f0116w~ng <br /> <br />manufacturing es tabl~.shmonts: <br /> <br />~cid manufacturi~, Including s ulphurous, <br />~ulphuric, nitric, hydrochloric and carbolic a~id; <br />acetylene gas ma~facture on a com~erclal scal~; <br />Cyanids, celluloid and cellulose products manufacture;~ <br />The manufacture of pyroxylin plastic materlal~r <br />of products therefrom; <br />Chlroine or bleaching powder manufacture; <br />Crematory, except fa'conjunction with a cemetery; <br />Creosote manufacture; <br />-Enameling works; <br />Explosives, flreworks~or match ~&nufacture c~ <br />assembly; <br />Fertilizer manufacture or potash refining; <br />Flab canning; fish scrap; glue works; meat packing, <br />petroleum refining; oil storage in quantities <br />exceeding 1,O00 barrels on one lot, or in any <br />tank above ground exceeding 500 barrels capacity, <br />which is within 30 feet of any lot boundary line; <br />Refuse disposal, including the incineration, <br />reduction or ~mping of offal, ashes, ~arbage or <br />refuse (except refuse wood products burned in a <br />suitable furnace) unless under the control and <br />direction of the City of Santa Ann or the County <br />of Orange. <br /> Soap manufacture, smelting, sewage disposal plant <br /> conducted on a co~mnercial basis and not controlled <br /> by the municipality; but nothing in this section <br /> shall prohibit the provision of facilities for <br /> the purification of the waste of a factory; <br /> tanning, wool pulling. <br /> <br /> SECTION XIII. <br />AND APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICTS: <br /> <br />AIrXILLIARY UoES IN RESIDENCE; TWO FAMILY <br /> <br />(1) Within such districts, it <br /> <br />shall be permitted to <br /> <br /> <br />
