ORE[ NANCE NO. 81~. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI%.~- OF SANTA ANA, <br />REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. '740, 742m '755 <br />and 758 O~ ~HE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AND <br />ABANDONING ALL PROCEEDINGS HAD THEREUNDER. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, do ordain as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That ordinances Nos. 740, 742, 755 and 758 <br />of the City of Santa Aha are hereby repealed and all proceedings <br />had under said ordinances or either or any of them are hereb~ <br /> <br />declared abandoned and the <br />actions or proceedings now <br /> <br /> Section2! That <br /> <br />City Attorney instructed to dismiss any <br />pending under said procee~ngs. <br />said ordinances so repealed and proceed- <br /> <br />ings had thereunder were proceedings under the laws of the State of <br />California, .known as the !'Street Opening Act of 1903" and amendment~ <br />thereto, governing the opening of streets within municipalities and <br />particularly to the proposed opening of North Sycamore Street from <br />~ashington Avenue to Fifteenth Street and from Fifteenth Street to <br /> <br />Seventeenth (' <br /> otreet respectively in said City and said ordinances ar, <br /> <br />repealed and said proceedings abandoned by the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ana on account of certain irregularities in said <br />proceedings and without prejudice to the Board of Trustees initiati~ <br />new proceedings under the laws of the State of California, for the <br />opening of said street, or such other improvements as to said Bo~r~ <br />of Trustees may seem proper. <br /> <br /> Section ~ The City Clerk shall certify to the ps,sage <br />this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published three time <br />in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Hegister, a daily newspaper printed. <br />published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha and thirty (30) <br />days after its final passage it shall take effect and be 'in force. <br /> <br /> The foregoing ordinance is approved this 16th day of May <br /> <br />1927. <br /> <br />A%T~ST. <br /> <br />CS ^L). <br /> <br /> F.
