follows: ORDINANCE NO. 841 AN ORDINANCE Al~ENDING oRDINANCE NO. 820 ADOPTING AN ELECTRICAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, PRO- VIDING FOR ELECTRIC PERMITS, INSPECTIONS, ETC. IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana do ordain as That Ordinance No. 820 of the City of Sants Ana is hereb~ amended in the following particulars: That Section 25 of the Electrical Code adopted by ssid ordinance is hereby amended to reed as follows: Section 25. Boxes. (a) Plaster rings must be instal]ed upon all four inch outlet boxes. (b) Fixture studs must be' installed at all light outlets, except where receptacles or drop cords sro to be installed. That ~ection 32 of the Electrical Code adopted by said. ordinance is'amended to read as follows: Section 3~ Contractor's bond. ~Orporation shall engage in the business No person, firm or of contracting electrical installstions, alterations and/or repairing for any purpose what- soever without first h~ving deposited vdth the City Clerk a bond in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($800.00), and having procured e license therefor. Application for a license shall be made to the city Clerk, and the payment of the fees provided for by the license ordinance of said city. Upon recei, pt of the application and fees aforesaid, the City Clerk shall issue a license which shall expire in twelve (12) months· which shall, when proper notation has been made thereon by the City Electrician ~owing the successful compliance by the applicant to the provisions of Section 33 of said ~lectrical code, permit the holder thereof to engage of contracting electrical installations, a!terati~s That all ordinances or parts of ordinances with this ordinance are hereby repealed. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper printed, pub- lished and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and said ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from the date of its final in the business and/or repairs. in conflict passage. · The foregoing ordinance is approved this 30th day of January, 1928.
