WHEREAS, GILBERT RANGEL and DOLORES G. RANGEL have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated September 16, 1965, conveying an easement
<br />for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Raitt
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $790.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 870523-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, AMPARO P. SOLIS has delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />September 16, 1965, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />north side of Eighth Street, east of Raitt Street, in consideration
<br />of the sum of $790.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
<br />City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 870525-hrb
<br />with First American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MARIA MONTEVERDE and ARTHUR E. MONTEVERDE have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated September 16, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Western
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $1,085.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 870513-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SPERGEON R. TAYLOR and ELEANOR G. TAYLOR have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated September 16, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Western
<br />Avenue, in consideration of the sum of $2,705.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 870517-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DANIEL McCLAIN and CELESTINA M. McCLAIN have delivered
<br />to the City a deed dated September 28, 1965, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Raitt
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $830.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 870522-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PETE ESCOTO and HELEN ESCOTO have delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated September 16, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, at Western Avenue, in
<br />consideration of the sum of $815.00 and certain remedial work to be
<br />done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
<br />No. 870520-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
<br />Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, a body politic
<br />and corporate, has delivered to the City a deed dated August 31, 1965,
<br />conveying to the City an easement for underground pipeline on the
<br />north side of Alton Street, west of the Orange County Flood Control
<br />Drainage Channel, in consideration of the sum of $702.00.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
<br />Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the ~ity's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
