Parcel 3: A strip of land bounded Southerly by the <br />Easterly extension of the South line of Parcels 1 and 2; <br />bounded Westerly by the East line of Parcel 2; bounded <br />Northerly by a line parallel with and 3.00 feet Northerly, <br />measured at right angles from said South boundary; and <br />bounded Easterly by a line which is parallel with and <br />59.5 feet Easterly, measured at right angles from the <br />East line of Parcel 1. <br /> <br />Parcel 4: A triangular shaped parcel of land bounded <br />Southerly by the North line of Parcel 3; bounded Westerly <br />by the East line of Parcel 2; bounded Easterly by a <br />straight line which is 31.67 feet long, said straight line <br />terminates Southerly at a point in the North line of <br />Parcel 3; and said straight line terminates Northerly at a <br />point on the East line of Parcel 2, and is tangent to said <br />East line at said point. <br /> <br />PARCEL B: <br /> <br />An easement for street purposes over that portion of the <br />North half of Lot 4 of the Williams Tract, as shown on a <br />map thereof recorded in Book 30, Page 14, Deeds, records <br />of Los Angeles County, California, lying within the <br />following described property: <br /> <br />A strip of land 30.00 feet in width the East line of <br />which is 7.5 feet Westerly, measured at right angles, <br />from the following described line: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center line of <br />Segerstrom Avenue and Fairview Street as shown on a <br />Record of Survey map recorded in Book 66, at page 8, of <br />Records of Surveys, County of Orange, California, and <br />running thence Southerly in a straight line to a point <br />on the center line of Alton Street, formerly Talbert <br />Avenue, which is 1,115.00 feet Westerly, measured along <br />said center line of Alton Street, from the intersection <br />of the center line of said Alton Street and Greenville <br />Street, formerly Old Newport Road. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Attorney is hereby ordered to bring an <br />action in the name of the City of Santa Ana to condemn said property <br />necessary to be taken and to do all things necessary to prosecute <br />said action to final determination; <br /> <br /> 2. That the City of Santa Ana is authorized and empowered <br />to acquire, develop, maintain, improve, and repair streets within <br />the City; <br /> <br /> 3. l~at said public improvement is planned and located in <br />a manner which will be most compatible with the greatest public <br />good and the least private injury; <br /> <br /> 4. That said action in condemnation shall be taken in <br />accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and <br />the Cons~tution of the State of California relating to eminent <br />domain; <br /> <br /> 5. That the public interest, necessity, and convenience <br />require, and it is hereby ordered, that said City take immediate <br />possession and use of the property herein ordered to be acquired <br />upon compliance with the requirements of law applicable thereto as <br />right of way for public street. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
