318 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 974 <br /> <br /> AN ~IDINANCE FIXING THE PLACE OF ~ETING <br /> OF THE BOARD OF THUSTEES, COMMONLY <br /> AS THE CITY COE~CIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br /> ANA, ORANGE CO~TY, STATE (F CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br />The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana ordains as follows: <br />Section 1. That 203 North Broadway, 215-217-219 West Second Street, <br />and all that part of the Santora Building located on the Northeast corner of <br />Second Street and Broadway, in the City of Santa .ina, Orange County, State of <br />California, is fixed as the me~ting place of the Board of Trustees, commonly M~own <br />as the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, Orange County, State of California. <br /> <br /> Section 2. An emergency is hereby declared to exist, owing to the fact <br />that the City Hall of the City of Santa Aha, which was severely damaged during the <br />earthquake shocks commencing on March lO, 1933, and continuing to the present <br />date, has been condemned and is being torn down. It has therefore been found <br />necessary to secure other offices for the City of Santa Aha in order that the <br />Board of Trustees may be able to carry on the work of sRid City. This ordinance <br />shall therefore take effect immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and approval <br />of this ordinance, and cause the same to be published three times in the Santa Aha <br />Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper printed and published in the City of <br />Santa Aha, California. <br /> <br /> The foregoing ordinance is approved this 1Vth day ~f April, 1935. <br /> <br /> Paul B.
