]6 ORDINANCE NO. 1,022, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CREATING SPECIAL GAS TAX STREET IS~ROVEIfENT FUND A~D RELATING TO THE CARE AND EXPF27DITURE OF ~.~O~m_~yB RECEIVED FROM THE STATE .OF CALI?OP~.~IA U~ER THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 8, CHAPTER l, DIVISION 1 OF T}~ STREETS A~PD HIGHWAYS CODE. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SA/:TA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTI.0N l: To comply with the provisions Of Article 5 of _~apter I of Division I of the Streets and Highv?ays Code, with particular reference to the amendments made thereto by Chao~er 8&2, Statutes of ~ ~ there is hereby created in the City Treaeu~y a special fund to be ~ .~ ~no .n as the"Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund". S.E.CTI.ON £.: All moneys received by the City from the State of California under the provisions of the Streets and Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interests therein for, or the construction, maintenance or ~morovement of ~tr~e~o or hzgn.~ays other than State highways shall be paid into said fund. SECTION S.: All moneys in said fund shall be e~.ended er.~clusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all of the pro~io_ons of Article 5, ~%apter l, Division I of the Streets and High, rays Code.
