RESOLUTION NO. 62-42 ACCEPTING DEED FROM <br />CLARENCE G. BERRY AND THELMA J. BERRY IN CON- <br />SIDERATION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA TO SAID CLARENCE G. BERRY AND .' <br />THELMA J. BERRY FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SAID QUITCLAIM DEED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CLARENCE G. BERRY and THELMA J. BERRY have presented <br /> <br />to the City a deed dated February 7, 1962, conveying an easement for <br />street purposes on the East side of Andres Place, South of Melric j~ <br />Drive, in consideration of the City paying for all charges in <br />connection with certain prescribed street improvement work and in <br />consideration of the City quitclaiming to CLARENCE G. BERRY and <br />THELMA J. BERRY all of the City's interest in a certain parcel of <br />real property located on the East side of Andres Place, South of <br />Melric Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said transaction is to be handled through Escrow <br />No. 47318-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined to accept said deed and to <br />execute a quitclaim deed to said persons in partial consideration <br />for said deed. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deed dated February 7, 1962, from CLARENCE G. BERRY and <br />THE~A J. BERRY, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deed. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quitclaiming <br />to CLARENCE G. BERRY and THELMA J. BERRY any right, title or interest <br />that the City may have in a parcel of reel property located on the <br />East side of Andres Place, South of Melric Drive and described as: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
