ORDINANCE NO. 10~8 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE SANITATION AND CONDUCT OF <br />CAMP CARS AND/OR TRAILERS IN~THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br /> CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br /> THE COUNC~I?~ OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN. AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: For the purpose of this ordinance certain words and phrases are <br /> defined as follows, and certain provisions shall be constEAed as herein set forth, Unles <br /> it shall be apparent from their context that they have a different meaning. <br /> <br /> Words used in the singular include the plural, and the plural, the singular. <br /> Words used in the present tense include the future. <br /> <br /> CAMP CAR AND/OR TRAILER <br /> "Camp Car and/or Trailer" is any unit used for living or sleeping purposes and <br /> which is equipped with wheels or similar devices used for the purpose of transporting <br /> said unit from place to place, whether by motive power or other means. <br /> <br /> CA~P ROUND <br /> <br /> "Camp Ground" is defined to be any place, area or tract of land upon which is <br /> located any camp car and/or trailer. This definition shall not include a location <br /> where a camp car and/or trailer is not occupied. <br /> <br /> HEALTH DEPARTNENT <br /> <br /> "Health Departmen~," is the Health Department or the Health Officer of the City <br /> of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> SECT~ION 2: It shall be the duty of the Health Department to enforce all of <br /> the provisions of this ordinance and for the purpose of securing enforcement thereof, <br /> the Health Officer, or any of his duly mAthorized representatives, shall have the right, <br /> and are hereby empowered to enter upon the premises of any camp ground now operating or <br /> which may hereafter be operated within the City of Santa Aha to inspect the same, and al~ <br /> acco~mmodations connected therewith. <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: PERMIT REQUIRED <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to operate or maintai~ <br />or to offer for public use, within the confines of the City of Santa Aha, as hereinafter <br />set forth, any camp ground without first applying for and receiving from the Health <br />Department a permit so to do, in the manner hereinafter provided, or without complying <br />with regulations hereinafter set forth, or any rules and regulations which may be <br />formulated by the Health Department from time to time, and the laws of the State of <br />California, and City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: APPLICATION FOR PERMIT~ INSPE. CTION FEE <br /> <br /> Each application for such permit shall be in ~rittng, upon a form provided by <br />the Health Department for that purpose. It shall state the name and address of the <br />applicant and a description of the property, whereon or wherein, it is proposed to con- <br />duct a camp ground. It shall also contain such other information asthe Health Depart- <br />ment may require, and it shall be filed by the applicant. It shall be filed with the <br />Health Department not less than ten (10) days, nor more than thirty (30) days before said <br />camp ground is made ready for use, and it shall be accompanied by an inspection fee of <br /> <br />Five ($5.00) Dollars, for which the Health Department <br /> <br /> SECTION 6: ~pNEY TO CITY TREASURER <br /> <br /> All moneys received by the Health Department <br /> <br />visions of this <br /> <br />Fund° <br /> <br />shall issue a receipt. <br /> <br /> as inspection fees, under pro- <br />ordinance, shall be paid into the City Treasu~ and placed in the General <br /> <br /> <br />
