SECTION .9: INVESTIGATION REQUIRED BEFORE ISSUiNG PERMIT <br /> Upon the filing of such application accompanied by the inspection fee, <br />it shall be the duty of the Health Department or any of its duly authorized <br />representatives to investigate the premises and d~termlue whether said proposed <br />camp ground or the site selected therefor conforms with the requirements of this <br />ordinance, the rules and regulations of the Health Department, and the laws of the <br />State of California, and no permit shall be issued ~less such Camp Ground or the <br />site selected therefor complies with such requirements, and meets with the approva <br />of the Health Department, and said Department may, at its discretion, approve or <br />reject any proposed camp ground site. <br /> <br /> SE. CTION ?: ~EVOCATION OR SUSPENSION OF PERMIT <br /> <br /> Any permit granted hereunder shall be subject to revocation or suspensic <br /> by the Health Department in the following manner, to-wit: A notice shall be <br /> served on the person holding said permit, specifying wherein he has failed to <br /> comply with this ordinance, and requiring him to appear before the Health Depart- <br /> ment, at a day and hour therein specified, not less than five (§) days after the <br /> personal service of said notice on such permit holder, requiring him to show <br /> cause at said time and place why said permit should not be revoked or suspended. <br /> At the time and place mentioned in said notice, the person holding said permit <br /> shall have the right to appear in person, or by counsel, and to introduce such <br /> evidence as he may desire, and the Health Department shall confront said permit <br /> holder with any charges that said Health Department may have against him, and afte <br /> said hearing, the Health Department may, at its discretion, revoke or suspend the <br /> <br />permit. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: PERMIT MAY BE TRANSFERRED <br /> <br /> Such permit shall be transferable upon the written application of the <br />holder of the permit to the Health Department, and with its consent endorsed <br />thereon. A Permit may be granted at any time during the year, and unless prevlou <br /> <br />revoked shall expire one calendar year following the date of issue. <br /> SECTION 9: PERMIT MUST BE POSTED IN CONSPICUOUS PLACE <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to e stablish, <br />maintain, condo, ct or carry on any camp ground unless there shall be at all times <br />posted in a conspicuous place at said camp ground the permit obtained from the <br />Health Department in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> SECTION lC: The provisions of this ordinance shall be applicable to <br />every camp ground within the iucorporated area of the City of Santa Aha, and it <br />shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation maintaining, operating, <br />conducting or carrying on any such camp ground, or for any person living or sleep- <br />ing in any camp car and/or trailer located in a camp ground, or any other person, <br />to violate, or contribute in any way to the violation, of any of the provisions of <br />this ordinance. <br /> <br /> SECTION ll: RESP.0.NSIBILITY OF OWNER OR OPERATOR <br /> <br /> Every person owning or operating a camp ground shall maintain such camp <br />ground, and any toilets, baths, or other permanent equipment in connection there- <br />with, in a clean and sanitary condition, and shall maintain sa~ equipment in a <br />state of good repair. ~ <br /> <br />ly <br /> <br /> <br />
