It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or <br /> corporati~mn obtaining such permit to display or sell any kind of fireworks not <br /> described in such detailed statement or any L~pe stricken therefrom. The fee <br /> for such permit shall be One ($1.00) Dollar per year: Such permit shall expire <br /> One (1) year after issuance. <br /> <br /> SECTION §: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation <br /> to sell, offer for sale, store, display, or discharge any fireworks of any type <br /> in any public oil or gasoline station, or on any premises where gasoline or <br /> other inflanmnable liquids are stored or dispensed. All fireworks sold or <br /> displayed for sale in a room or building shall be displayed iu glass enclosed <br /> or other suitable enclosed cases. <br /> <br /> SECTION 6: It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation <br /> to discharge any fireworks except on the third (3rd), fourth (4th) and fifth <br /> (§th) days of July of each year. <br /> <br /> SECTION 7: Firewo~ks may be stocked, kept and stored only ~en packed <br /> in a box or container approved by the Interstate Commerce Commission upon special <br /> permit from said Fire Chief at such place as said Fire Chief shall designate. <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Ordinance the <br /> City Council of the City,of Santa Aha in its discretion may grant permits for <br /> public displays of fireworks under the supervision of said Fire Chief. <br /> Applications for such pex'mi~s shall be filed with said Fire Chief not less than <br /> Ten (10) days before such public display and shall be accompanied by a detailed~ <br /> statement of the items of such proposed display. If such permit is granted~ <br /> no items shall be displayed except as are contained in such statement and said <br /> City Council may in granting such permit eliminate from said Statement such items <br /> as it deems hazardous and it shall be unlawful for the grantee of such permit <br /> to exhibit or display such eliminated items. Such pubXic display shall be u~der <br /> the supervision of said Fire Chief and/or such persons as he shall designate and <br /> authorize. The fee for such permit shall be Ten ($10.00) Dollars for each <br /> display. Such display and/or displays shall be held at such place and time as <br /> designated in said permit and under no circ~astances shall such displays be held <br /> in Fire Zone No. 1 of the City of Santa Aua. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the pro- <br /> visions of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con- <br /> viction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than Three Hundred <br /> ($300.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment for a period of not mere than Ninety (90) <br /> days or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br /> <br /> Each such person, firm or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a <br /> separate offense for each day during any portion of which any violation of any <br /> provision of this Ordinance is committed, continued or permitted, by such person, <br /> firm or corporation, and shall be punishable as provided by this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> SECTION 10: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the <br />Provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
