PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF ELECTRICAL PERMITS, AND FOR INSPECTIONS AND FIXING THE FEES THEREFORE; REGULATING THE INSTALLATION, ARRANGEMENT, ALTERATION, REPAIR, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF ELECTRICAL WIRING, ELECTRIC FIXTUREZ, AND OTHER ELECTRIC APPLIANCES AND EQUIPMENT IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE SAME, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE" is hereby repealed. SECTION 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the SANTA ANA REGISTER, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and a~ter its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of May, 1942.
