RESOLUTION NO. 62-109 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br />OF REAL PROPERTY ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF DELHI <br />ROAD--WARNER AVENUE AND THE WEST SIDE OF MAIN <br />STREET FOR THE WIDENING OF~ SAID STREETS <br /> <br /> ~EREAE, Warner Avenue and ~ou%h Hain E%r~% ~ they Dragonfly <br />exist in the area of their intersection are inadequate for present or <br />future traffic flow. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana does hereby find and declare that public use, benefit, <br />safety, economy and general welfare require that Warner Avenue and <br /> <br />Main Street be widened on the Southerly and Westerly sides respectively, <br />as shown on maps thereof on file in the office of the Department of <br />Public Works and herein referred to for greater detail, to accommodate <br />the demands of traffic, and further require that the City do have, <br />take and acquire an easement for all the purposes of a public street <br />over that certain land in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> PARCEL 1: The Northerly 54 feet of the Easterly 322 feet <br /> of Section 25, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M. <br /> Excepting therefrom that portion previously dedicated for <br /> public street. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 2: The Easterly 60 feet of the Northerly 250 feet <br /> of said Section 25. Excepting therefrom that portion <br /> previously dedicated for public street. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 3: A spandrel shaped parcel bounded Northerly by <br /> the South line of Parcel 1, bounded Easterly by the West <br /> line of Parcel 2, and bounded Southwesterly by the arc of <br /> a curve concave Southwesterly, having a radius of 25 feet <br /> and tangent to said Northerly and Easterly boundaries. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Santa Ana, California, a Municipal <br />Corporation, is authorized and empowered to provide for the construc- <br />tion, widening and improving of streets within the City limits and <br />to acquire by eminent domain, under the circumstances hereinabove set <br />out. <br /> <br /> 2.
