RESOLUTION NO. 62-221 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION <br />OF REAL PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF <br />WARNER AVENUE AND MAIN STREET FOR STREET WIDENING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Warner Avenue and South Main Street as they presently <br />exist in the area of their intersection are inadequate for present of <br />future traffic flow. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Aha does hereby find and declare that public use, benefit, <br /> <br />safety, economy and general welfare require that Warner Avenue and Main <br /> <br />Street be widened on the Southerly and Westerly sides, respectively, as <br /> <br />shown on maps thereof on file in the office of the Department of Public <br /> <br />Works and herein referred to for greater detail, to accommodate the <br /> <br />demands of traffic, and further require that the City do have, take and <br /> <br />acquire an easement for all the purposes of a public street over that <br /> <br />certain land in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br /> <br />California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: An easement for street purposes along the South 29 feet of <br />the North 54 feet of the Easterly 322.00 feet of Section 25, in <br />Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: An easement for street purposes along the South 147 feet <br />of the West 27 feet of the East 60 feet of the North 201.00 feet of <br />the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 25, in <br />Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. <br /> <br />Also hereby granting all vehicular access rights to Warner Avenue <br />from the lands lying South of the South line of Parcel 1, except the <br />Easterly 40 feet of the Westerly 52 feet and the Easterly 35 feet of <br />the Westerly 237 feet. <br /> <br />Also hereby granting all vehicular access rights to Main Street from <br />the lands lying West of the West line of Parcel 2, excepting the South <br />38 feet and the North 38 feet of the South 127 feet. <br /> <br />PARCEL 3: A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded Northerly by the <br />South line of Parcel 1, bounded Easterly by the West line of Parcel 2 <br />and bounded Southwesterly by the arc of a curve concave Southwesterly <br />and tangent to said Northerly and Easterly boundaries. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Santa Ana, California, a municipal corpora- <br />tion, is authorized and empowered to provide for the construction, <br />widening and improving of streets within the City Limits and <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
