322 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1146 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING A <br /> CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION, CALIFORNIA <br /> STATE E~PLOYEESt RETIRENENT SYSTEN, PROVIDING FOR THE <br /> PARTICIPATION OF SAID SUBDIVISION IN SAID STATE <br /> E~PLOYEESt RETIRENENT SYSTE~/, AND NA~UiNG ITS ENPLOYEES <br /> NE~BERS OF SAID SYSTEI~o <br /> <br />THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLIOWS: <br /> <br /> Section l: That a contract is hereby authorized between the City <br />Council of the City o£ Santa Aha and the Board of Administration, California State <br />Employeest Retirement S~stem, a copy of said contract being attached hereto marked <br />Exhibit "A" and by such reference made a part hereof as though set out in full. <br /> <br /> Section 2: In order to meet its obligations under the proposed contract <br />referred to in this ordinance, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha is author <br />ized to comply with all the provisions in the STATE EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT ACT, as <br />amended, or as it may hereafter be emended, <br /> <br /> Section 3: The Mayor of the City of Santa Aha is hereby authorized, <br />empowered and directed to execute said contract for and on behalf of said Subdiv- <br />ision. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect August l, 1945, and shall, <br />within two months from said date, be published at least three times in the Santa <br />Aha Daily Register, a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated <br />in the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> (See Original Ox~ltnance No. 1146 which shows <br /> Exhibit "A" ) <br /> Contract between City Council of City <br /> of Santa Aha and the Board of <br /> Administration of the California <br /> State Employees' Retirement System. <br /> <br /> (See Re~olution No. 3397, dated June <br /> 18th, 1945, which includes Ordinance <br /> No. 1146) <br /> <br /> <br />
