ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074 WHEREAS~ the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with the applicationS to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the ques- tion of each amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recon~nended such amendments to the City Council for adoption; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regula~ notice of a public hea~ing to be held before the City Council, and such public hea~ing has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that pub- lic necessity requires the following amendments aud changes in the present classification of certain property in the City of Santa Ana and that the proposed uses under the proposed new classifications will not be detrimen- tal to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Sheet 32 of the Districting Map of the City of santa Ana of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DIS- TRICTS WITHIN T.HE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, A}~END},~NT AND ENPORCEMENT TtiEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINA~JCES AMENDATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify as C-2 all property now zlassified as R-Z, and within the following described exterior boundary lines, to-wit: All that certain real property bounded on the north by Anahu~st Place; on the south by South Broadway, on the east by a line parallel to the monumented center line of South Main Street and 183 feet westerly, at right angles, therefrom; and on the west b~ the prolongation southerly of the line forming the rea~ line of Lots 6 to 15, inclu- sive, in Block B of Tract No. 597.
