ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has <br /> <br />given notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with <br />the applicationS to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties <br />hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the ques- <br />tion of each amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recon~nended such <br />amendments to the City Council for adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regula~ notice of a public <br />hea~ing to be held before the City Council, and such public hea~ing has <br />been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that pub- <br />lic necessity requires the following amendments aud changes in the present <br />classification of certain property in the City of Santa Ana and that the <br />proposed uses under the proposed new classifications will not be detrimen- <br />tal to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Sheet 32 of the Districting Map of the City of <br />santa Ana of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DIS- <br />TRICTS WITHIN T.HE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND <br />USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGHT <br />OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A MAP OF <br />SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE <br />ADJUSTMENT, A}~END},~NT AND ENPORCEMENT TtiEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS <br />VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINA~JCES AMENDATORY <br />THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be amended to reclassify as C-2 all property now <br />zlassified as R-Z, and within the following described exterior boundary <br />lines, to-wit: <br /> <br /> All that certain real property bounded on the north by <br /> Anahu~st Place; on the south by South Broadway, on the <br /> east by a line parallel to the monumented center line of <br /> South Main Street and 183 feet westerly, at right angles, <br /> therefrom; and on the west b~ the prolongation southerly <br /> of the line forming the rea~ line of Lots 6 to 15, inclu- <br /> sive, in Block B of Tract No. 597. <br /> <br /> <br />
