ORDIN~CE NO. 1159 <br />ORDINANCE A~F/4DING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the <br /> <br />iO?A <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana has given <br /> <br />notice of public meetings as required Oy law in connection ~h the application to <br />amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and has <br />duly held two public meetings upon the question of such amenament, and thereafter, <br />by resolution, recommended the same to the City Council for adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City Council gave due and regular notice of a public <br />hearing to be held before the City Council, and such public hearing has been duly <br />and regularly held, and the Olty Council does now find that public necessity <br />requires the following amenament and change in the present classification of <br />certain property in the City of Santa Aha and that the proposed uses under the <br />Proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />F OLLO WS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Sheet No. 13 of the Districting Map of the City of <br />Santa Ana of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled #AN ORDINANCEESTABLIBHING DISTRICTS <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND EBTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USEB AND <br />REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN BUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS <br />AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION: ADOPTING A ~ OF SAID DISTRICTS: <br />DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUBTNENT, ANENDNENT <br />AND ENFORCEMENT THEREOF; PREBORIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION A/~D REPEALING <br />ORDINA/~CE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES ARENDATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, <br />AND ALL ORDINANCEB OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH', be amended to <br />reclassify ae C-~ all property now classified as R-1 and R-~ and lying within <br />the exterior boundary lihe of the property described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the North line of Roe Drive, <br /> which is lB8 ft. WeatSard from the West line of Main <br /> Street; thence Westerly along the North line of Roe <br /> Drive a distance of ~00 St. to the Southwest corner <br /> of Lot ?, Block #A#, Tract No. §11; thence North along <br /> the West line of said Lot ?, a distance of 124.~5 ft. <br /> to the Northwest corner of said Lot ?; thence Easterly <br /> along the North line of Lots ?, 8, § and 4, a distance <br /> of ~00.~0 feet., to the Northeast corner of Lot 4, <br /> Block #Am, Tract ~o. 511; thence Southerly along the <br /> East line of said Lot 4 to the Southeast corner thereof, <br /> which is the point of beginning. <br /> <br />SAID property is located on the north side of Roe Drive, back of the Weber Baking <br />Company, ~S58 North ltain Btreet, Santa Ans. <br /> <br /> That said Districting Map so amended is attached hereto and hereby <br />adopted s~d made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> Section ~: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this <br />ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues <br />of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the <br />City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for that purpose.
