Any other persons holding positions or employment <br />tnthe Classified Service shall be regarded as holding their <br />positions or employment as probationers who are serving out the <br />balance of their probationary period before obtaining regula~ <br />status. <br /> <br />"SECTION ~0.05. CHIEFS OF DEPARTD~NTS. <br /> <br /> For the purpose of this ordinance, the following additional <br />positions shall constitute Chiefs of their respective depart- <br /> <br />ments: <br /> <br /> 1. City Clerk <br /> <br /> 2. City Judge <br /> <br /> 3. City Treast~er <br /> <br /> 4. City Auditor and Purahasing Agent <br /> 5. Building Inspector <br /> 6. City Engineer <br /> <br /> 7. Water Superintendent <br /> 8. Street Superintendent <br /> 9. Park Superintendent <br /> 10. Garage Superintendent <br /> ll. Director of Recreation <br /> 12. Planning Engineer <br /> <br /> The present chief of each department shall, innnediately <br />upon this amendatory ordinance becoming effective, file with <br />the Civil Service Board an official list of all members of such <br />department with the respective rank or grade held by each msmber, <br />as required by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1056. As to any em- <br />ployees who are within the classified civil service, but who are <br />not members of any department the Chief of which is herein named, <br />the Civil Service Board shall classify such employees under a <br />miscellaneous department. The Board o£ Trustees shall appoint <br />an official or employee of the City to act as chief of such <br />miscellaneous department, for the purpose of, and with the <br /> <br /> 3. <br /> <br /> <br />
