O~iNANCE NO. ~206 AN ORDINANCE OF _THE CITY OF S'AI~TA PROHIBITING A~D REGUIAT,~G THE CARRY- INn OF DANGEROUS OR DEADLY V~EAPONS THE PEOPLE OF TPH~ CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOW,S: Section 1: The term "dangerous or deadly weapons" as used in this Ordinance includes, but is not limited to, any dangerous or deadly weapon within the meaning of any law of this state restricting the use thereof; any dirk or dagger; any ice-pick or similar sharp stabbing tool; any knife of any description with a blade the sharpened or cutting por- tion of which is two and one-half inches or more in length; any straight edged razor or any razor blade fitted to any handle or holder; any cutting, stabbing or bludgeoning weapon or device capable of inflicting grievous bodily harm; any club, billy, blackjack, sap, paLmshot, chain or any con- tainer filled wita metal, sand, soap, salt or other substance designed to be used, or capable oI' being used as a striking or bludgeoning weapon or device capable of inflicting grievous bodily har~,~; and any fire-arm other than, (1) one carried pursuant to valid permit issued by duly authorized governmental authority, or (2) any ordinary rifle or shotgun lawfully car- ried for purposes of hunting or ooher lawful purpose. Section 2: It shall be unlawful for any person, while carrying concealed upon his person any dangerous or deadly weapon, to loaf or loiter upon any public street, sidewalk or alley or to wander about from place to place with no lawful business t~ereby to perform, or to hiae, lurk or loi- ter upon or about the premises of another. Section 3: It shall be unlawful for any person who has con- cealed upon his person or who has in his i~Gediate physical possession any dangerous or aeadly weapon to engage in any fight or to participate in any other rough or disorderly premises of another. Section ~: It shall be unlawful for any person wac has ed upon ~is person any dangerous or aeamly weapon, to loiter or be any place where intoxicating liquors are sold or any other place conduct upon any pub±ic place or way or upon the conceal- about of public resort.
