RESOLUTION NO. 6.2-172 .... DECLARING THE CONSENT OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO <br />COMMENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE ANNEXATION <br />ACT OF 1913 <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, residents and property owners in the area lying <br />Westerly of the present Santa Ana City Boundary, both North and <br />South of Edinger Avenue, have requested that annexation proceedings <br />be commenced for the annexation of the territory by the filing of a <br />letter requesting the same; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area <br /> <br />have been presented to the Santa Aha Planning Commission for their <br />~consideration, and said Commission has reported to the City Council <br /> <br /> recommending that said annexation proceedings be approved and carried <br /> forward. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings <br />for the annexation of territory to be known as "HARBOR AND EDINGER <br />EAST ANNEXATION" in accordance with the map and description heretofore <br />presented to the Santa Ana Planning Ccmuuission and to this City <br />Council. <br /> <br />at its <br /> <br />ASSISTANT CLERK,~OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />regular meeting held on the 4th day of September, 1962. <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
