RESOLUTION NO. 62-213 OVERRULING THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND <br />GRANTING A VARIANCE ON VARIANCE APPLICATION <br />NO. 1689 FILED BY DAVID A. AND ELLEN M. MELIM, <br />SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator, after public hearing on <br />notice, denied a variance on Variance Application No. 1689, filed <br />by DAVID A. and ELLEN M. MELIM to construct a six-unit apartment <br />building with a four-foot side yard on the street side of the parking <br />area at 602 East Chestnut Avenue in an R-2 District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Co~u.ission affirmed the denial of said <br />Variance Application by the Zoning Administrator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 74 was duly filed by DAVID <br />A. MELIM requesting a hearing on said Variance Application before <br />the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City council, after public hearing on notice, has <br />determined that the Zoning Administrator and the Planning Commission <br />should be overruled and that said variance should be granted, subject <br />to certain conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby grants a variance on Variance Application <br />No. 1689 to permit the property located at 602 East Chestnut ~venue <br />in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, <br />described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point 80 feet South of the Southwest <br /> corner of Lot 8 in Block C in Halladay's Addition to <br /> the Town of Santa Aha, as shown on a map thereof <br /> recorded in Book 22, Page 14, Miscellaneous Maps, of <br /> Los Angeles County and running thence East along the <br /> South line of Chestnut Street 60 feet; thence South <br /> 150 feet; thence West 60 feet; thence North 150 feet <br /> to the point of beginning, <br /> <br /> District to be used for the construction of a six-unit <br /> apartment building with a four-foot side yard on the street <br /> <br /> Said variance is granted subject to certain <br /> <br />in an R-2 <br /> <br />two story <br /> <br />side of the parking area. <br />conditions as follows: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
