RESOLUTION NO. 62-213 OVERRULING THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND GRANTING A VARIANCE ON VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 1689 FILED BY DAVID A. AND ELLEN M. MELIM, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator, after public hearing on notice, denied a variance on Variance Application No. 1689, filed by DAVID A. and ELLEN M. MELIM to construct a six-unit apartment building with a four-foot side yard on the street side of the parking area at 602 East Chestnut Avenue in an R-2 District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Co~u.ission affirmed the denial of said Variance Application by the Zoning Administrator; and WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 74 was duly filed by DAVID A. MELIM requesting a hearing on said Variance Application before the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City council, after public hearing on notice, has determined that the Zoning Administrator and the Planning Commission should be overruled and that said variance should be granted, subject to certain conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby grants a variance on Variance Application No. 1689 to permit the property located at 602 East Chestnut ~venue in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point 80 feet South of the Southwest corner of Lot 8 in Block C in Halladay's Addition to the Town of Santa Aha, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 22, Page 14, Miscellaneous Maps, of Los Angeles County and running thence East along the South line of Chestnut Street 60 feet; thence South 150 feet; thence West 60 feet; thence North 150 feet to the point of beginning, District to be used for the construction of a six-unit apartment building with a four-foot side yard on the street Said variance is granted subject to certain in an R-2 two story side of the parking area. conditions as follows: -1-
