T. Sohenk for permission to conduct public dances at the American <br />Legion Hall on Friday ~nd. Saturday nights, beginning Saturday, January!i <br />26th, 1952, during the hours of 9:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M., was granted <br />subject to the approval of the Administrator and Chief of Police. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, the request!i <br />of the Park Superintendent for permission to attend the American <br /> <br />Institute of Park Executives in Fresno, February 18th and 19th, was <br /> <br />granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, <br /> <br />seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br /> <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and Tentative <br /> <br />Map of Tract 1573 approved, being property on the east side of Grand <br /> <br />Avenue; the north line of the tract is about 601 feet south of the <br /> <br />center line of East Seventeenth Street. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and Revised <br /> <br />Tentative Map of Tract 1572 drawn to the scale of forty feet to the <br /> <br />inch approved, being property between 5-istol and Baker Streets and <br /> <br />extending north from a line about 293 feet north of Seventeenth Street~ <br /> <br />and original Tentative Map of Tract 1572 drawn to the scale of eighty <br />feet to the inch and involving the same property was rejected. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, Tentative <br /> <br />Map of Tract 1411, consisting of twelve lots lying in a portion of the <br />area between Wright St~-eet and the southerly prolongation of the east <br /> <br />line of Linwood Place and between First and Fourth Streets, was tabled <br />until next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, ~entative ~ <br />Map of Tract 1575 showing 49 lots fronting on extensions of Maple and <br /> <br />Orange Avenues between Delhi Road and Central Avenue, was referred to <br /> <br />the Planning Commission and City Engineer for further study regarding <br /> <br />connection to Orange Avenue. <br /> <br />On motion of T~stee Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Arden Farms to permit general offices and wholesale and <br /> <br />retail distributing plant for milk, ice cream, and dairy products (no <br /> <br />processing or production) on a parcel of land bounded on the south by <br /> <br />East First Street, on the west by the subdivision known as Home Place; <br />on the north by a line parallel to the south line of East EQ~umth Street <br />and distant 360 feet therefrom; and on the east by a line parallel to <br />the east line of Home Place and distant 246.8 feet therefrom , being <br />on the north side of East First Street between MoClay and Wright Streets, <br /> <br />subject to certain conditions. <br /> <br />Communication was read from Planning Commission recommending that <br />Hallada~ Street be widened to 80 feet by adding 40 feet to the east <br />side south of the Pacific Electric tracks and by adding ~0 feet to the <br /> <br /> <br />
