<br />completed and on motion of Trustee Mcbride, seconded by Hunter and
<br />carried, the bond filed by Burr Huff, President, Sunshine Homes, Inc.,
<br />written by the ~eneral Casualty Company of America, in .the sum of
<br />
<br />$7,500.00, was ordered released.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mcbride, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br />Minutes of the Joint Outfall Sewer Executive Board meeting held Febr.

<br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and.carried, the
<br />applications of Jack Tobler, William~J. Costa and Yoa Costa, to drive
<br />
<br />taxicabs, were received and permits granted.

<br />On motion of TrUstee Mcbride, seconded by Hunter and carried, petition
<br />signed by Burr Huff, President, Sunshine Homes, Inc. requesting annex-
<br />ation to the City of certain uninhabited real property, being propertyi
<br />
<br />on Bristol Street north of Edinger was referred to the property owner i~
<br /> appli cable
<br />requesting statement that owner will consent to assume an~/bonded
<br />indebtedness or liability of the City contracted prior to or existing
<br />
<br />at the time of the annexation.

<br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the
<br />proposed annexation of the area south of Dyer Road and east of Main
<br />Street was deferred for further ~tudy.

<br />On motion of Trustee Mcbride, seconded by Hunter and carried, the
<br />following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution proposing to annex certain territory
<br /> to the City of Santa Ana, describing said territory
<br /> giving notice of the time and place of a public
<br /> hearing thereon where all protests will be heard
<br /> and passed upon, designating the name of "Townsend
<br /> Annexation#, as an appropriate name for said
<br /> territory and declaring reasons why the City~ Council
<br /> desires annexation#
<br />

<br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, proper
<br />official was authorized to sign escrow instructions with H.J. and Clar~
<br />M. Gerken for right-of-way in connection with the widening of East
<br />Seventeenth Street, in the sum of $4750.00.

<br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, proper
<br />official was authorized to sign escrow instructions with David J. and
<br />Janet A. Bingham for right-of-way in.connection with the widening of
<br />Bristol Street, in the sum of $200.00.
