(prohibiting houses from being moved into the City) On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, agreement dated April l, 1952 between the City and Rodney W. Berg for rental of concession stand at the Community Center, subject to certain stipulati¢ was approved, received and filed. On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance · granted to John S. Taylor, Sr. to permit remodeling and converting of a garage to a part of existing store, adding an area 16 x 20 feet to the store and making certain changes to its front elevation at $21 McFadden Street, subject to certain conditions. . Trustee McBride arrived at 8~45 P.M. . On motion of T~ustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance granted to Clair L. and Almlra Anderson to permit a new house in front of existing garage-house and allowing said garage-house to remain on the lot at 1017 West Pine Street, subject to certain conditions. Communication and Resolution No. $30 of the Planning Commission were . read recommending amending the 'Zoning Ordinance of 1939' in regard to giving public notice of hearings either by posting placards or by mail or by both methods, and in regard to the effect of irregularities in notices, and as to a time limit on repetition of applications oonsidere~ similar. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carrie~ a notice of public hearing was ordered published setting date as May 5,1! 1952 regarding the proposed amendment. # Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending that the Council adopt an Ordinance prohibiting houses outside of Santa Ana from being moved into the City and stating that a committee composed of the Fire Chief, Building Inspector and Jasper Farney was appointed In Re Communication Tentative Maps of Tract No.1595 In Re Communication Tentative Map of Tract No.1598 to work with the Council in this matter. On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by McBride and carried, the communication was received, filed and an audience be given the committee at the next meeting. # Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending dis- approval of Tentative Maps of Tract No. 1595 due to a lack of drainage rlght-of.~way, which maps involve a parcel of land extending from Main Street to Santa Aha Boulevard and lying approximately 650 feet north of!!
