Berg for rental of <br /> concession stand at the Community Center, subject to certain stipulati¢ <br /> was approved, received and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br /> <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br /> <br />· granted to John S. Taylor, Sr. to permit remodeling and converting of <br />a garage to a part of existing store, adding an area 16 x 20 feet to <br />the store and making certain changes to its front elevation at $21 <br /> <br /> McFadden Street, subject to certain conditions. <br /> . <br /> Trustee McBride arrived at 8~45 P.M. <br /> . <br /> <br /> On motion of T~ustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br /> recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br /> granted to Clair L. and Almlra Anderson to permit a new house in front <br /> of existing garage-house and allowing said garage-house to remain on <br /> the lot at 1017 West Pine Street, subject to certain conditions. <br /> Communication and Resolution No. $30 of the Planning Commission were <br /> <br />. read recommending amending the 'Zoning Ordinance of 1939' in regard to <br />giving public notice of hearings either by posting placards or by mail <br />or by both methods, and in regard to the effect of irregularities in <br />notices, and as to a time limit on repetition of applications oonsidere~ <br />similar. On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carrie~ <br />a notice of public hearing was ordered published setting date as May 5,1! <br /> <br />1952 regarding the proposed amendment. <br /> # <br /> <br /> Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending that <br /> the Council adopt an Ordinance prohibiting houses outside of Santa Ana <br /> from being moved into the City and stating that a committee composed <br /> of the Fire Chief, Building Inspector and Jasper Farney was appointed <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />Tentative Maps <br />of Tract No.1595 <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />Tentative Map <br />of Tract No.1598 <br /> <br />to work with the Council in this matter. On motion of Trustee Dahl, <br /> <br /> seconded by McBride and carried, the communication was received, filed <br /> <br />and an audience be given the committee at the next meeting. <br /># <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Commission recommending dis- <br />approval of Tentative Maps of Tract No. 1595 due to a lack of drainage <br />rlght-of.~way, which maps involve a parcel of land extending from Main <br />Street to Santa Aha Boulevard and lying approximately 650 feet north of!! <br />Roe Drive. On motion of T~'m. stee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried,i! <br />the recommendation of the Planning Oommission was approved and Tentativ~ <br />Maps of Tract No. 1595 were rejected. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the Planning Oommission recommending dis- <br />approval of Tentative Map of Tract No. 1598 because of street alignment!i <br />which map involves property between Artesia tmd English Streets and <br />adjoining Washington Avenue.
