<br />was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee
<br />Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried.

<br />widening of South Main Street, was~ read, considered, designated
<br />Resolution No. 52-53 and passed by the following vote:

<br />On motion cf Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried, statemen'
<br />showing receipts, disbursements and fund balances as of May 31, 1952,
<br />from Acting Auditor and Purchasing Agent, Juvenile Bureau report for
<br />May and Civil Service Board Minutes dated May 15, were referred to the
<br />
<br />Finance Committee.

<br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Dahl and carried, the Civil
<br />Defense and Disaster Plan for the City, as recommended by the Civil
<br />
<br />Defense and Disaster Council, June 4, 1952, was approved.

<br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Jerome and carried,
<br />communication from Attorneys Forgy, Reinhaus and Forgy, on behalf of
<br />Johan Hanson, Fire Marshall, reference accumulated vacation and sick
<br />
<br />leave pay, w~s referred to the City Attorney.

<br />Communication was read from County Tax Collector advising that the
<br />County intends to sell at public auction tax-delinquent property
<br />
