<br />On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, the reports
<br />of the Building Department, Judge's Office, Police Department, Water
<br />and Sewer Department for the month of Juhe; fiscal report for 1951-52
<br />of the Judgers Office, statement of condition of funds for the quarter
<br />ended March 31, 1952 of Diehl and Company and Civil Service Board
<br />
<br />Minutes dated June 20, 1952, were received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Minutes
<br />of the Joint Outfall Sew,r Executive Board meeting held June 5, 1952,
<br />were received and filed.

<br />Communication was read from W.M.Robertson, Major General, Director of
<br />Civil Defense, together with copy'of statement of the Secretary of th~
<br />Air Force, Thomas K. Finletter, in support of the decision to
<br />immediately activate the Ground Observer Corps on'a 24-hour basis.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br />
<br /> communication and statement were received and filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the
<br />request of Daniel C. McNaughton, Director of Santa Ana College, for
<br />reduction in rental fee for use of the Bowl on Sept. 13, was referred
<br />to the Administrator, Trustee Dahl and the Park Superintendent for
<br />
<br />report at the next meeting.

<br />On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the
<br />request of Leonard Israel, M;D. for reserved parking space at 106
<br />South Birch Street was referred to the Administrator, Engineer and
<br />Chief of Police.

<br />On motion of T~ustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the request
<br />of Dalton Mobley for a stop sign at 20th and Poins.qttia Streets was
<br />
<br />referred to the Administrator, Engineer and Chief of Police for report
<br />.
<br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the request
<br />of L.H.Williamson for permission to preach the gospel, not more than
<br />tlu~ee evenings a week, preferably at the corner of Sycamore and Fourth
<br />Streets, was referred to the Administrator, Chief of Police and
<br />Attoruey for report.

<br />Communication was read from the City Engineer submitting copy of
<br />letter from the Department of Finance and copy of Resolution 125 of
<br />the State Allocation Board withdrawing the original application for
<br />$283,524.14, Chapter 20 Funds and rescinding Resolution 211 allotting
<br />
<br />such funds to the Santa Aha Sewer Construction Fund and approval by
<br />the State, by Resolution 2043, allotting the amount of $283,525.1~ to
<br />
<br />the Santa Ana Stor~ Sewer Construction Fund. On motion of Trustee
