I understand from Mr. Nunez that short term rentals will be back on the city council agenda in August. I appreciate <br />sincerely you bringing this issue back as many jobs and people are affected by your decision. <br />am writing again to help you understand the need for short term rentals in residential neighborhoods. My next door neighbor in <br />who has been around the past 7 years that I have been running my business just yesterday needed to use my home as her <br />home flooded. This is not the first time a neighbor was in need of my home for a short amount of time with housing situations <br />such as this one or family coming to town who wanted to stay near by their family and not in down town. Please understand that <br />short term rentals are needed throughout the city! Short term rentals who don't follow noise and traffic regulations can be shut <br />easily with a taxed and regulated permit program. <br />Attached is a screen shot of our conversation with our neighbor.
