B <br /> <br /> cc: Oounty Recorder ~ <br /> County ,~ar~e¥or' (letter) <br /> Public Works <br /> Planning Dept. <br /> <br />i~ESOLU~DION ~O. 61-2 O.~DERI~.G VACATIOn,~ At~D ~' <br />ABAi,TDON~,iENT OF PO~£IO~S OF I,'IcFADDEI~ AVFAqUE <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, heretofore, on December 5, 1960, the City Council <br />adopted Resolution Ho. 60-255 declaring its intention to vacate ~he <br />portions of McFadden Avenue herein described, which Resolution was <br />published and posted as required by law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, public hearing was duly held thereon on January 3, <br />1961, and after hearing, the Council has decided that said street <br />portions should be vacated. <br /> <br /> NOW, TEERF~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'l~at the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby finds that the portions of McFadden Avenue <br />herein described are unnecessary for present or prospective street <br />purposes. <br /> <br />BE IT FURthER RESOLVED: ~fhat the City Council hereby makes <br /> <br />its order vacating and abandoning, for street purposes, the portions <br /> <br />of McFadden Avenue, in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State <br /> <br />of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1:, <br /> <br /> A strip of land 84 feet in width, the center line of <br />which is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Commencing at the common corner of Sections 14, 15, 22 <br />and 23, in Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino <br />Base and ~eridian and running thence ~orth 0~ 47' 20" West <br />along the East line of said Section 15, said East line <br />being the center line of sullivan Street, 1322.6~ feet to <br />the true point of beginning; thence South 89~ 22' 2~" West <br />1679.21 feet to the beginning.of a tangent curve concave <br />Northerly having a radius of 1000.00 feet; thence Westerly <br />along the arc of said curve through a central angle of <br />27° 30' 00" 479.97 feet to a tangent line; thence North <br />63° 7' 32" West along said tangent line to the Easterly <br />right of way line of the former Newbert Protection District <br />right of way for the channel of the Santa Ana River. Said <br />84 foot wide strip of land being bounded Westerly by said <br />Easterly right of way line of the former Newbert Protection <br />District.
