(2) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />Identify opportunities for public and City staff EV charging on City properties. <br />Identify scenarios where additional off -site charging resources may be required <br />to support fleet operations. <br />Provide recommendations for emergency backup charging, solar generation, and <br />storage. <br />Deliverables <br />Report and presentation of CARB regulations, updates, and compliance <br />requirements. <br />Electric Vehicle Assessment that includes vehicle replacement schedule, vehicle <br />replacement recommendations, budget and cost analysis, regulatory compliance. <br />Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Assessment that includes site locations, <br />energy requirements, infrastructure improvements, budget and cost analysis <br />(acquisition, installation, maintenance, life cycle), emergency backup/solar <br />recommendations. <br />TASK 4 — DEVELOPMENT OF CITY FLEET POLICIES & STANDARDS <br />• Work with City Staff to review existing fleet policies. <br />• Present information to the City identifying existing policy issues and any relevant <br />federal/state mandates. <br />• Identify and present fleet industry standards and future developments. <br />• Draft comprehensive, clear, and consistent fleet policies and standards; <br />including, new and revision of existing policies. Consultant must submit the <br />original version in Microsoft Word format. <br />Deliverables <br />• Using information received and developed in Task 2, 3, and 4, draft <br />recommended policies that align with Fleet industry standards that support the <br />Fleet operation, City objectives, and related legislation. <br />TASK 5 — WORKFORCE & STAFFING LEVELS <br />• Review existing City Fleet staffing levels. <br />• Determine any changes in staffing and training required to adequately manage <br />the electrified fleet and resources available for that training. <br />• Provide recommendations on technical and professional development of City <br />Staff in order to maintain, service, and repair electric fleet and infrastructure <br />• Provide a comprehensive labor cost analysis for the repair and maintenance of <br />EVs including estimated labor hours for common EV on repair tasks. <br />• Provide recommendations for staffing levels for Fleet Maintenance including, <br />technicians, project managers, and administrative staff to execute and administer <br />the Master Plan. <br />Deliverables <br />• Comprehensive workforce assessment that identifies the required staffing levels <br />to maintain, service, repair EVs and EV charging equipment, and administer the <br />
