Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome , the proposals, On motion of as outlined by Nm. Oglesby were referred to the Juvenile Bureau of the Police Depart- ment and letter written to Mr. Oglesby of Oouncills action. Communication was read signed by Walter C. Collins and Grace F. Vandenberg stating they are owners of two pieces of property south of Washington Avenue and east of the A.T.&.S.?. right-of-way, each 162.5 feet on Washington Avenue by 750 feet deep and zoned M-2; offering to dedicate to the City a fifty-foot strip for the purpose of having a street through the center and agreeing to pave 36 feet but preferrtn that no curbs or sidewalks be required. On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the matter was referred to the Administrator and City Engineer for recommendation and report at the next meeting. On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, Resolution Accepting Three Easement Deeds from Robert F. Buchheim etum Hugh M. Neighbour, Jr. etux and Lucien Butler Ward crux, conveying certain property located on the west side of Baker Street, north of Santa Clara, was referred to the Council as a whole for report at the next meeting. On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, the follow- ing Resolution entitled: "Resolution Accepting Easement Deed" from Victor Charles and Marion Silverstein conveying certain real property for the widening of East Seventeenth Street, was read, con- sidered, designated Resolution No. 52-76 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, T~ustees Absent, Trustees . On motion of Trustee Hunter, ing Resolution entitled: William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Orson H. Hunter, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. None None seconded by Dahl and carried, the follow- "Resolution Accepting Two Easement Deeds" from Sherman and Helen E. Dotson and Fred and Ida S. Vollmer, con- veying certain real property for the widening of South Main Street, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 52-77 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Orson H. Hunter, Milford W. Dab/, Courtney R. Chandler. None None On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, communi- cation from F.E.Callaghan reference air pollution which rolls in from the refineries at Huntington Beach, was received and filed.- On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, communi- cation from City of San Fernando umging retention of warehouse at Tustin for storage of medical supplies for Civil Defense, was referred to the Civil Defense Coordinator for reply.
