Hunter, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. None None Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the follow- ing Ordinance entitled~ "An Ordinance amending Santa Ana Municipal Code by amending Section 3215 and Section 6331" reference parking at curb painted green, and, permitting entrance into pool halls by police officers and the general public other than minors under the age of eighteen years, was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1348 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees William Jerome, J.L.McBride, Orson H. Hunter, Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. Noes, Trustees None Absent, Trustees None . On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, the follow- ing Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance fixing the compensation of certain elective officers of the City of Santa Ana and repealing Ordinance Number 1317" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the recommendation of the Plannlng Commission was approved and variance .granted to the Franciscan Sisters to permit construction and use of a chapel and convent and/or home for the aged or else to extend or add to the present home for the aged for a chapel and convent building and/or home for the aged, and to permit a reduction in the front yard requirements to a minimumdepth of ten feet, and to waive the rear yard requirements, on a parcel of land at the southwest corner of Sixth Street and Western Avenue, subject to certain conditions. Communication and Resolution No. $47 of the Planning Commission were read, recommending an amendment to the Municipal Code requiring a six foot solid fence or wall around Junk yards, salvage yards and certain other yards.- On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, a notice of public hearing was ordered published setting date as November 3~ 1952,
