regarding the Chicano Moratorium, and stated he is not supportive of First Amendment <br />right infringement. <br />Councilmember Bacerra spoke regarding conditional use permits and enforcement at <br />VanNess Market, announced free admissions to the Bowers Museum for Santa Ana <br />residents until September 8, 2024, spoke regarding his nomination to the Youth <br />Commission, and congratulated City Manager Nunez. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Phan congratulated City Manager Nunez, thanked the Parks, <br />Recreation, and Community Services Agency for Movies at the Park, acknowledged <br />Chief of Staff Lizbeth Rosales for her commitment, and congratulated Councilmember <br />Penaloza on his wedding. <br />Mayor Amezcua spoke regarding the Back to School Resources Fair on Sunday, July <br />28, 2024, congratulated City Manager Nunez, wished everyone a happy back to school <br />year, and expressed concern regarding families in shelters and case managers <br />transporting kids to and from school.
