♦ Chain of command within the task force is an APD Sergeant, the APD Crime Suppression <br />Bureau Lieutenant, the APD Investigation Division Captain, the APD Deputy Chief, and Anaheim <br />Police Chief. <br />♦ Anaheim Police Department is the lead agency for the OCHTTF, partnered with the Orange <br />County District Attorney's Office HEAT Unit and Waymakers. <br />Compensation: <br />♦ Reimbursement of overtime work and travel expenses shall be upon the submission of <br />proper invoice, which shall be submitted to APD on a monthly basis with supporting documents. <br />Overtime work to be reimbursed upon invoice shall be reimbursed for services rendered by task <br />force members at one and one-half {1 %z} time their regular hourly rate, multiplied by the number of <br />hours of service actually provided during the billing period. Overtime reimbursement will not <br />include any benefits or other compensation that such personnel may be entitled to as a consequence <br />of enhanced services rendered pursuant to this MOU. <br />♦ Each month, SAPD shall submit an invoice to APD describing the services performed <br />and/or the specific task in the Scope of Services to which it relates, the date the services performed, <br />and the number of hours spent on all work billed on an hourly basis. APD will provide payment for <br />the described services performed within 30 days after the invoice is submitted. <br />♦ All other financial support for any regular or overtime hours worked, costs related to travel, <br />equipment, training, or other miscellaneous expenses will be the responsibility of SAPD. <br />Liability and Insurance: <br />None of the parties hereto shall be liable for any bodily injury, death or damage to property <br />proximately resulting from the negligent, wrongful or willful acts or omission of any other party's <br />C7 <br />The duration of this MOU will encompass the entire <br />FY 23 Enhanced Collaborative Model Task Force to Combat Human Trafficking project funding cycle, <br />anticipated to occur throughout 10/01/2023 -- 09/3012026. <br />
