Reynoso to permit waiving of rear yard requiremen <br /> on property located at 1711 West Fifth Street so that the reap lot <br /> line will be along the rear of the existing building. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Dahl, <br /> seconded by Jerome and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Accepting ~asement Deed" <br /> <br />from Walter C. Collins and Grace Fuller Vandenberg, conveying an <br />easement across that certain real property being the east 25.00 feet <br />of Lots B3 and B4 of Dean's Addition, and the west 25.00 feet of Lots <br />A2 and A3 of Dean's Addition, was read, considered, designated <br />Resolution No. 52-93 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees William Jerome, J.L.McBride, <br /> Orson H. Hunter, Milford W. Dahl, <br /> Courtney R. Chandler. <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent, Trust.ese None <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the bond of <br />Walter C. Collins and Grace Fuller Vandenberg, in the sum of $16,000.0 <br />for the construction of sewers, manholes, water lines, drainage <br />culverts, street pavement, curbs, sidewalks and other improvements in <br />the east 25.00 feet of Lots B3. and B4, Dean's Addition and the west <br />25.00 feet of Lots A2 and A3 of Dean's Addition, wae approved. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Mcbride, <br />seconded by Dahl and carried, the bid of Anderson Plumbing Company, <br />in the sum of $4969.00 was accepted for the furnishing of two gas <br />fired bo. ilers at the Community Center and all other bids rejected. <br />Communication was read from Planning 0ommisslon requesting that the <br />Council study the advisability of Freeway' connections at First Street <br />and' make studies relative To a grade separation where the Southern <br />Pacific Company's tracks and the Atchison,~ Topeka and Santa Fe Railwa; <br />CompanY's tracks cross EaSt First Street. On motion of Trustee <br />Hunter, seconded by ~erome and carried, the request was referred to tl <br />Administrator and CitY Engineer for report at some future date. <br />#, <br />Communication wa~ read from ~he Planning Commission requesting the <br />Council to reolassify that portion of the property, which i~es within <br />the ?ity, for industrial purposes, and that the Council request thc <br />Coua~y to reclassify, for the same purpqse, the remainder of the land <br />described below: Beginning' at the i~terseo~ion of Chestnut Avenue <br />with McClay Street, thence southerly along McOlay Street to the <br />At~hison~ Topeka and Santa Fe Railway right-of-way, thence southeast- <br />erly along said 'railroad right-of-way ~o Newport Avenue; thence .aouth- <br />wesSerly along Newport Avenue to Dyer Road; thence westerly along <br />Dyer Road to the City limit line of The City of Santa An~; thence in <br />general northerly direction along said city limit line as it existed <br /> <br /> <br />
