• Compliance with 41 USC 4712 that prohibit, under specified circumstances, discrimination <br />against an employee as reprisal forthe employee's disclosure of information related to gross <br />mismanagement of a federal grant, a gross waste of federal funds, an abuse of authority <br />relating to a federal grant, a substantial and specific danger to public health or safety, or a <br />violation of law, rule, or regulation related to a federal grant. <br />2 CFR 200.334 Record retention and access: records pertinent to the award that the recipient <br />(and any subrecipient) must retain — typically for a period of 3 years from the date of <br />submission of the final expenditure report, unless a different retention period applies —and <br />to which the recipient must provide access, include performance measurement information, <br />in addition to the financial records, supporting documents, statistical records, and other <br />pertinent records. <br />• 28 CFR Part 38 Compliance with DO) regulations pertaining to civil rights and <br />nondiscrimination <br />• 28 CFR Part 42 must comply with all applicable requirements of 28 CFR Part 42, specifically <br />including any applicable requirements in Subpart E that relate to an equal employment <br />opportunity program. <br />• No sub -recipient under this award that receives a subcontract with any funds under this <br />award, may require any employee to sign an internal confidentiality agreement or statement <br />that prohibits or otherwise restricts, or purports to prohibit or restrict, the reporting of <br />waste, fraud, or abuse to an investigative or law enforcement representative of a federal <br />department or agency authorized to receive such information. <br />Requirement to report actual or imminent breach of personally identifiable information (PII): <br />must have written procedures in place to respond in the event of an actual or imminent <br />"breach" <br />• Sub -recipient must complywIth all applicable requirements pertainingto prohibited conduct <br />related to the trafficking of persons, whether on the part of the recipients, subrecipients, or <br />individuals defined as "employees" of the recipient or of any subrecipient <br />• Report potential fraud, waste, and abuse, and similar misconduct <br />• 18 USC 1913 Restrictions on Lobbying <br />• Must have written policies and procedures in place that address how it will maintain the <br />confidentiality of victims' names, addresses, telephone numbers, or any other identifying <br />information, including how this information will be protected when there is information <br />sharing between partners. <br />• Copyright; Data rights: acknowledges that OJP has the right to (1) obtain, reproduce, publish, <br />or otherwise use the data first produced under any such award or subaward; and (2) <br />authorize others to receive, reproduce, publish, or otherwise use such data for Federal <br />purposes. <br />Reimbursement for overtime will be provided for personnel who assist the task force with their <br />operations.
