RESOLUTION NO. 61-116 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, REscINDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 61-108 FAVORING ACQUISITION OF CONTROL OF THE <br />WESTERN PACIFIC BAILROAD COMPANY BY THE ATCHISON, <br />TOPEKA AND THE SANTA FE BAILWAY COMPANY AND~ OPPOSING <br />SUCH CONTROL BY SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, <br />at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of April, 1961, passed <br />and adopted Resolution No. 61-108 favoring a~quisition of control of <br />the Western pacific Railroad Company by the Atchison, Topeka and the <br />Santa Fe Railway Company and opposing such control by Southern <br />Pacific Company; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after further study and consideration said City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana has decided to rescind said Resolution No. <br />61-108. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 61-108 is <br />hereby rescinded. <br /> <br />PAssED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />An& at its <br /> <br />regular meeting held on the 1st 1day of <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />~.~K OF ~ cOuNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF O~ANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br />1961. <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of <br />the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution <br />was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held <br />on the 1st day of May, 1961, and was at said meeting regularly <br />passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AyES, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
