Use caution when opening attachments or links. Good Afternoon City Counsel, Hello my name is Mark A Neri And I am a long time living resident at the city of Santa Ana. My address is CA 92706 and In this area, it is one of the most beautiful area you can live in in the city of Santa Ana. Unfortunately, we are plagued with gang activity and Homelessness and drug activity. This area has so much potential to be above and beyond. What the city has to offer? But the Santa Ana police department and u city council members. Unfortunately, tried to brush a lot of these issues under the rug which is unacceptable. Because we as residents pay taxes and contribute to this society. How it's supposed to be. But when we ask for help to have police officers patrol our area from time to time make themselves visible. It seems that it's not happening. And it is so unfortunate that I Call the police department all the time. And they show up or don't show up 20 minutes. 30 minutes an hour goes by and nobody or body shows And it is not just in this area, but it is all over the city that it is happening when X. Mayor Miguel Pulido Left l!! He left an amazing legacy and under his leadership. This city was thriving like it was supposed to be. And there was no homelessness. Yeah, there was gang activity, but it was very minimal. And unfortunately, the new mayor is all promises, but no deliveries. That is why not just the council members. But the mayor itself need to be replaced with younger more ambitious. Leadership that are willing to make the necessary sacrifices and changes for the good of the city. Yes, mirror Polito might have had his issues. But it is far minimal than what we are paying right now an. D unfortunately, our kids are gonna pay the consequences. For the actions of the council members and the mayor of the city and even boiling down to the San. Ta Ana unified school district. There's a lot of issues within the city. That wasn't happening 10,15 years ago. Maybe 20, it so unfortunate that we have to go through these times But this is the time where we as residents need to unite and battle these issues. Because nothing's been done, nothing is being done. TBH its time for Conservatives and republicans to run the city. I. Was a democrat, but times have changed I. Hope this letter serves this city right. And I hope they make the necessary changes for the better good of the city and for the residence of Santa Ana. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day 1
