Weed and Seed Program, Phase II <br />March 1, 1993 <br />Page 2 <br />The grant included funding for a team of professionals including <br />a Deputy District Attorney and a Deputy Probation Officer from the <br />County of Orange. Funding for these two positions is not to exceed <br />$292,322 during the period from April 1, 1992 through September 30, <br />1993. <br />The grant included funds to establish a "victim -witness" program. <br />This program provides victims and witnesses with support and <br />services during the process of investigation, court hearings and <br />follow-up periods.
