The City was awarded the grant and funding <br />is provided in two phases. Phase I was accepted by the City <br />Council on July 6, 1992. Phase II funding, which is now available, <br />is in the amount of $487,000. The total grant funding is 1.1 <br />million dollars. <br />Operation Weed and Seed is a comprehensive, <br />to combatting violent crime, drug use, <br />targeted high -crime neighborhoods.
