3. The operation of the Santa Ana Stadium <br />concession stand faces several significant <br />challenges: <br /> Roof Repairs: A new roof is required due <br />to water damage from recent storms. <br /> Pest Mitigation: Pest control is needed, <br />as the building has been closed since the <br />pandemic. <br /> Equipment Upgrades: The sole bidder in <br />the RFP process requested new <br />equipment, including a fryer, stove, and <br />microwave. <br /> POS System: A new point-of-sale system <br />is necessary for operation. <br /> Building Maintenance: A vendor to <br />maintain the building must be selected <br />either through a new bid or incorporated <br />into an existing contract. <br /> <br />In addition, the east and west bleacher <br />concession stands need to be cleared out by <br />PWA contractors as it is utilized currently for <br />storage of equipment. These concession stands <br />are built more for single serve items (chips, <br />drinks-with the purchase of refrigerator(x2), <br />candy; hot dogs-with purchase of hot dog <br />machine (x2) etc.). Lastly, electrical work would <br />need to be done in order to make all available <br />electricity access points viable.
