'N <br />AG REEMENT <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />9 <br />121 <br />i <br />13, <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />is <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />281 <br />29 <br />30 <br />'u. <br />321 <br />THIS A�.,REK=F, made and entered into this 12th day of March <br />BY AND BETWEEN, <br />CITY Or, SANTA ANA <br />a municipal corporation hereinafter designated <br />as "CITY", and <br />COUNTY OF ORWGE, <br />a political subdivision of the State of <br />California, hereinafter designated as "CO72TZY" <br />WFMESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, considerable traffic presently exists and is progressively in- <br />creasing on Red Hill Avenue between Barranca Road (Dyer Road) and Warner Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, traffic conditions warrant the addition of interconnect and other <br />equipment at existing traffic signals to provide a system of coordinated intersections <br />for the benefit of traffic progression hereafter referred to as the "System"; and <br />WHEREAS, traffic conditions at the intersection of Red Hill Avenue and Warner <br />Avenue -viarrant the installation of traffic control signals and highway intersection <br />lighting to facilitate the safe and orderly movement of traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, CITY is willing to cooperate with CCTL7_1TTY for the construction of <br />said System 9-nd the traffic signal and highway intersection lighting installation <br />hcroina�4't-cr referred -to as the "Pf-oject". <br />NOW, THE RTEFORE, IT IS AGREED by the parties hereto as follows: <br />1. The Project shall include: <br />A. Said System, which encompasses installation of telephone inter- <br />connect equipment and all traffic signal modifications listed on <br />Exhibit "A" attached and made a part hereof. <br />B. Said traffic signal and highway lighting system at the intersection <br />of Red Hill Avenue with Warner Avenue, which shall include a three <br />phase type 90 controller with two (2) volume density modules, one (1) <br />left turn mod -,ale, one (1) standard :module with integrated pedestrian <br />timing, and three dial coordination unit. <br />11. COUNTY SHALL: <br />A. Prepare the detailed plans, specifications and estimate for the <br />Project. <br />B.
