-73-4,3 <br />C. <br />Be and is hereby designated as the contracting and construction <br />2 <br />agent for the parties to do and perform all acts necessary or <br />3 <br />repaired in order to construct the Project in accordance with the <br />4 <br />plans and specifications, including material control, inspection <br />5 <br />of the construction work, and to execute and deliver aU documents <br />6 <br />necessary or required in connection with the construction and <br />7 <br />completion of said Project, including certificate of day labor, <br />equipment and material cost and certification of completion of the <br />9 <br />Project. <br />10 <br />III. CITY <br />SHALL: <br />11 <br />A. <br />Approve plans and specifications as to design and construction <br />1.2 <br />features affecting the construction operation and maintenance of <br />13 <br />the portion of the Project within CITY. <br />1.4 <br />B. <br />At all time during the progress of construction of the Project <br />15 <br />have access to the work for the purpose of inspection thereof and <br />16 <br />should CITY deem any remedial measure; to be necessary, CITY shall <br />17 <br />notify the Road Commissioner of CO-WTY thereof. <br />7 <br />III, Upon <br />completion of the Project, CITY's share of the cost of sa4d- <br />19 <br />A. <br />System, -shall be based on the contract lump sum bid price for <br />20 <br />said portion of the contract, and be in the ratio of the number of <br />21 <br />traffic legs of highways under its jurisdiction to the total. number <br />22 <br />of legs entering all of the signalized intersections within the <br />23 <br />System limits, all as shoian more particularly on Exhibit "A", as <br />24 <br />the city limits exist at the time the Board of Supervisors advertise <br />25 <br />the contract for the Project. <br />26 <br />B. <br />Traffic signal and intersection lighting at Red Hill Avenue and <br />27 <br />Warner Avenue shall be based on the contract lump seam bid price <br />28 <br />for said portion of the contract, and be in the ratio of the num'oer <br />29 <br />of traffic legs of the intersection lying within its jurisdiction to <br />3C� <br />the total nurcoer of legs entering the intersection, all as more <br />31 <br />particularly sho-w*n. on Exhibit "A", as the city limits exist at the <br />32 <br />time the Board of Supervisors advertise the contract for the Project. <br />I <br />_2_ <br />
