RESOLUTION NO. 61-205 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE <br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, THE LEHNHARDT CORPORATION has presented to the City <br /> <br />a deed dated August 11, 1961, conveying a non-exclusive easement for <br />water line purposes North of Smeltzer Avenue, East of Verano Street; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, APOSTOLIC JESUS NAME CHURCH, a corporation, has <br />presented to the City a deed dated August 17, 1961, conveying an /~ <br />easement for street purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, West <br /> <br />of Newhope Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, APOSTOLIC JESUS NAME CHURCH, a corporation, has <br /> <br />presented to the City a deed dated August 17, 1961, conveying a /~ <br />temporary easement for the construction of a storm drain on the North <br />side of Sugar Avenue, West of Newhope Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, APOSTOLIC JESUS NAME CHURCH, a corporation, has <br />presented to the City a deed dated August 17, 1961, conveying an <br />easement for drainage purposes on the North side of Sugar Avenue, West <br />of Newhope Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILWAY COMPANY, a California <br />corporation, has presented to the City an Indenture~dated June 26, <br />1961, granting to the City the right to construct, reconstruct, <br />maintain and operate a sewer line across Pacific Electric Railway <br />property between the Southerly extensions of Garnsey and Birch Streets; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being <br />paid to said grantors by the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
