RESOLUTION NO. 61-210 DENYING APPEAL APPLICATION <br />NO. 36 FILED BY ELSA REUTER ARMSTRONG FROM VARIANCE <br />APPLICATION NO. 1527 FILED BY E. A. and PAULINE R. <br />REUTER AND GRANTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION SUBJECT <br />TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; BUT MODIFYING TWO CONDITIONS <br />IMPOSED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND ADDING ONE <br />NEW CONDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing the Planning Commission granted <br />Variance Application No. 1527 filed by E. A. and Pauline R. Reuter <br />to permit the establishment of a new and used car retail sales plant <br />together with accessory garage repair activities on certain property <br />located at the Northeast corner of Fruit Street and Grand Avenue, <br />Santa Ana, California, in the R-3 District, subject to certain <br />conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 36 was duly filed with the <br />City Council appealing the granting of the Variance by the Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after a hearing before the City Council it has been <br />determined that said Variance should be granted subject to certain <br />conditions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana hereby denies Appeal Application No. 36 and approves <br /> <br />the granting of said Variance subject to conditions as follows: <br /> <br />That 55 off-street parking spaces be provided for <br />exclusive use as employee and customer parking in <br />accordance with ordinance requirements, and that <br />said parking spaces be shown in a revised plot plan. <br /> <br />That a street right of way of 45 feet, measured <br />Easterly from and at right angles to the center line <br />of Grand Avenue as recommended by the Department of <br />Public Works be incorporated in a revised plot plan. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />That a 5 foot detailed landscaping plan along the <br />entire Grand Avenue and Fruit Street frontage, <br />except the driveways, be incorporated into a revised <br />plot plan, and that said landscaping shall be <br />installed and shall be maintained in an orderly and <br />well-groomed manner. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
