Approve an appropriation adjustment recognizing Measure M2 grant funding in the <br />amount of $4,568,526 into the Public Works Measure M2 Competitive revenue <br />account and appropriate the same amount into the Measure M2 Competitive Street, <br />Improvements Other Than Building expenditure account for future year <br />expenditures. (Requires five affirmative votes) <br />2. Approve an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Capital Improvement Program <br />to include Measure M2 grant funding in the amount of $4,568,526 for the Kraemer <br />Boulevard, Glassell Street, Grand Avenue Corridor Regional Traffic Signal <br />Synchronization Project (Project No. 25-6705). <br />GOVERNMENT CODE §84308 APPLIES: No <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Public Works Agency (PWA) is responsible for the administration and oversight of <br />all Capital Improvement Projects. On November 21, 2023, the City Council authorized <br />staff to submit the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Measure M2 Comprehensive Transportation <br />Funding Program (CTFP) application for Regional Traffic Signal Synchronization <br />Program (Project P) funding to the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) <br />(Exhibit 1). The Measure M2 Recommended Programming list includes the Kraemer <br />Boulevard, Glassell Street, Grand Avenue Corridor Regional Traffic Signal <br />Synchronization Project (Traffic Signal Synchronization Project) <br />The Kraemer Boulevard, Glassell Street, Grand Avenue Corridor Regional Traffic Signal <br />Synchronization Project (Traffic Signal Synchronization Project) would provide for inter- <br />jurisdictional traffic signal synchronization and intelligent transportation system
