For the most part,Accela GIS will not require much update or maintenance, unless a change is <br /> made to the agencies GIS configuration or user needs. This training could occur at any time either <br /> before or after Go Live. <br /> Post Go Live <br /> Civic Platform User Experience <br /> This training is a 2-day in-depth training on administration as it related to user experience and security. <br /> Attendees will learn how to utilize the form layout editors, configure consoles, implement additional <br /> security controls, setup calendars,templates and more. <br /> IKC Recommends holding this training a few months after go-live. This allows users to get a full hands- <br /> on experience with the software which will allow them to better understand what they would assist them in <br /> the layout and design of the user experience. Once users know what they would like, this class could be <br /> done as a working class which would allow the trainees to use real live examples for many of the updates <br /> they will be learning. <br /> EMSE Basics <br /> This training is a 1-day class which includes an overview of the Event Manager and Script Engine(EMSE), <br /> triggers,functions, controls,variables, debugging and available documentation overview <br /> [KC also recommends holding this training a few months after go-live. This will allow the trainee to <br /> become well versed in the overall system configuration and user needs before they move into the more <br /> complex pieces of scripting. <br /> Accela Citizen Access <br /> This training is a 1-day in-depth training on Administering the Citizen Access (ACA) (customer portal) <br /> system. Attendees will learn how to develop online processes and make them available to constituents. <br /> This is another training that could either occur within a couple months of go-live or after go-live. We <br /> recommend it after go-live simply to balance the amount of learning that will be required for administrators <br /> during the go-live process. <br /> I) Testing Approach <br /> Testing is a critical part of IKC implementation to ensure that systems function as effectively as possible, <br /> and data conversions flow as expected. IKC's approach to testing is two part; the first is automated, the <br /> second is manual. <br /> Automated Testing <br /> During the automated testing, [KC will run scripts against the database to review configuration,consistency, <br /> and identify possible issues and/or concerns that need to be reviewed. <br /> Manual Testing <br /> Manual testing will be completed by the users, as a part of User Acceptance Testing. During the manual <br /> tests, staff will be working to validate that the configuration for each record is accurate (fields,workflow, <br /> fees, requirements, etc.), as well as evaluating that the records meet the functional requirements for the <br /> department/division. <br /> Pagel22 <br />
