RESOLUTION NO. 61-266 ORDERING THE VACATION OF <br />A PORTION OF WASHINGTON AVENUE EAST OF THE NEW <br />ALIGNMENT OF JACKSON STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 16, 1961, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution No. 61-242 declaring intention to vacate that portion <br />of Washington Avenue herein described, fixing date of hearing on <br />said question; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 20, 1961, public hearing was duly held <br />on said question on posted notices and written notice contained in <br />the publication of said Resolution No. 61-242. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br />finds that the portion of Washington Avenue herein described is un- <br />necessary for present or prospective street purposes and hereby <br />makes its order vacating and abandoning for street purposes that <br />portion of Washington Avenue in the City of Santa Aha, California, <br />described as: <br /> <br /> That portion of Washington Avenue as shown on a map of <br /> Tract Number 1022, Recorded in Book 34, Pages 20 and 21, <br /> Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, <br /> lying East,of a line that is parallel with and 576.52 <br /> feet East, measured at right angles, from the center line <br /> of Bewley Street as shown on said map of Tract Number 1022; <br /> <br />reserving and excepting from said vacation a permanent easement and <br />right of way for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company and the <br />Southern California Edison company for the maintenance of the exist- <br />ing utilities structures and to construct, place, operate, inspect, <br />maintain, repair and replace such aerial and underground telephone, <br />telegraph and communication structures as said companies may from <br />time to time require, consisting of poles, anchors, wires, cables, <br />conduits, manholes, markers and necessary fixtures and appurtenances <br />over that area of said street easement bounded as follows: <br /> <br /> · On the West by a line running due North from a point <br /> on the South line of said right-of-way, which point is <br /> located 83 feet East of the centerline of Jackson <br /> Street; on the South by a line running due East which <br /> is 3 feet North of and parallel to the South line of <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
