Appl. <br />E.side B~istol btn <br />l$~n& Santa Clara <br />(Emmet Rogers) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Tentative Map of <br />Tract No. 1825 <br /> <br />of Trustee Dab.l, seconded by Jerome and carried, the hearing on <br /> <br />Eohlenberger Radio Sales and Service was continued until May 5, 1953. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustes Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Sales <br />until such time as delinquent payments are made <br />~axPex~it cf Robert Andres was ordered revoked immediately/and Clerk <br /> <br />instructed to issue a warrant if he continues to operate, after the <br />revocation of the Sales Tax Permit and the Shell 0il Company to be <br />notified of Council action. On motion cf T~ustee Dahl, seconded by <br />Jerome and carried, 1~e Sales Tax Permit of Thomas A. Ranier was <br />ordered revoked immediately until such time as delinquent payments are <br />made and the Clerk instructed to issue a warrant if he continues to <br />~perate after the revocation of the Sales Tax Permit. <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Dahl and tam-led, the <br /> <br />lng Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Santa Aha Municipal Code <br /> by amending Article IX thereof creating cl~ges <br /> in district boundaries and by amending ~heet <br /> -Number 15 of the Districting Map to show the <br /> reclassification# <br /> <br />of the west one-half of the block bounded as follows: on the east by <br />North Main Street; on the south by West 10th Street; on the west by <br />North Sycamore Street; and on ~he north by West Washington Avenue, <br />the C-i, neighborhood commercial, and R-3, multiple family residences <br />to the C-2 General commercial District, being property located on the <br />east side of North Sycamore Street between 10th and Washin~on Avenue, <br />in accordance with amendment application cf Tarver Montgomery, was <br /> <br /> introduoed~ read, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the follow- <br />lng Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Santa Ana Municipal Code <br /> by amending Article IX thereof creating changes <br /> in district boundaries and by amendimg ~heet <br /> Number 18 of the Districting Map to show the <br /> reclassification" <br /> <br />from R-1 to R-2 property situated on the east side of Bristol Street <br />between 18th Street and the south line of the school property, in <br />accordance with amendment application of Emmet Rogers, was introdueed, <br /> <br />read, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> # <br /> <br />0ommmnication was read from the Planning Commission recommending <br />approval of Tentative Map of Tract No. 1825, submitted by John M. <br />for Park Lane Estates covering property bounded on the north by Memory <br />Lane and on the east by Flower Street and consisting of sixty-five lot~ <br />providing that.a forty-foot right,-cf-way,be established from the <br />line of Memory Lane; that all eucalyptus trees be removed and that the <br />curbs and sidewalks meet the requirements of the City Engineering <br />Department. Charles Rester, 1006 North Towner Street suggested that <br />the eucalyptus trees be retained. Henry Cox, of Garden Grove <br />ed that the Council communicate with the State Division of Highways in <br />an effort to retain the trees. L.J.~herwin, 2730 North Flower Street <br />owner of property north of the proposed subdivision objected to the <br />eucalyptus t~ees'being retained and decreasing the forty-foot <br />way to be established from the center of Memory Lane.
